    The New England Sled Dog Races have two great raffles as a fundraiser for this charity event. ECTA will receive a portion of these proceeds. 

    RAFFLE A - Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50

    Join Alex van Alen, Peter Campot, Joe Sandulli and fellow ECTA members on Saturday, February 11th for a hike from Appleton Farms to The Black Cow restaurant in downtown Hamilton.  If conditions permit and we receive some ever-elusive snow, we will cross-country ski.

    We will meet an 10:00 am at the Waldingfield Parking Lot (corner of 1A and Waldingfield).

    Please register if you plan to stay for lunch so we can make a restaurant reservation.  We will have transportation available from the Black Cow for those who would like a ride back to Waldingfield.

    Join us for the 17th Annual Equine Expo!

    A large marketplace of businesses, groups and individuals will be selling many types of items (new and used) as well as services for the horse and rider/driver.   The horse enthusiast will find a wide variety to choose from at this one-stop shopping experience- tack, riding apparel, stable equipment, giftware, herbal products, supplements, equine massage, photography, equine publications, tack trunks, rescue organizations, home décor and more.

    Demonstrations will be going on all day in a ring inside the building. 

    Several tables will offer information on land organizations, trail maps, state parks, etc.  A food vendor will be there all day.

    The event is handicap accessible and there is plenty of parking.  Admission is $5. and children under 10 are free.

    Join us for the 2nd Annual ECTAthlon, the North Shore Outdoor Event of the Year!  There is nothing else like this one.  Teams of 4 will start in Bradley Palmer with a 3.5 mile trail run, followed by a  3.8 mile mountain bike ride, a 4 mile horseback ride (an "ideal time course" ), and ending with a 4.4 mile kayak race down the Ipswich River.

    Join ECTA Board Member Deb Hamilton on Friday and Saturday mornings to walk the scenic trails of West Newbury and surrounding towns. This is a great way to explore a beautiful part of ECTA country. Deb will lead the trips through the many different environs of northern Essex County.
